Raised Amid the Four Seasons
The pigs at El Paso Ranch live on a vast 30-hectare plot of land,
grazing 24 hours a day, a rarity globally.
Our breeding philosophy is to raise “disease-resistant pigs.”
We create a stress-free living environment, where pigs can roam freely.

Schwäbisch-Haller Schwein
In 2018, El Paso Ranch introduced Swabian-hall Swine, a rare breed from Germany.
This was the first time that Swabian-hall Swine were raised outside of Germany.
Inspired by the breed’s excellence and Germany’s cultural emphasis on pasturing, it took Hirayama over 5 years of negotiations to make this happen.

Born on the Ranch
The “dorobuta” pigs at El Paso Range are born and raised through natural mating.
The newborn piglets live and grow in a hygienic environment in a special building.

Growing Freely
As dorobuta pics grow, their environment gradually changes.
They have increasing contact with the outdoors, and adapt to life outside.
Once this phase ends, they move on to the expansive pasture area.

Running Wild in Nature
El Paso Ranch raises “disease-resistant pigs.”
Here, we create a stress-free environment by providing ample space for each pig on vast tracts of land.
The daily life of dorobuta pigs – energetically running through fields, mountains, and mud – enhances their natural vitality and builds healthy bodies.
Their 24-hour pasturing, extremely rare in Japan, is a hallmark of El Paso Ranch.
